Whats the best waterproof camera case for Canon SD970IS?
I’m needing a waterproof camera case for my canon camera. I’m only using it for jet skiing but just in case it falls in the water I want a case for it. I’m kind of afraid to buy one as I’ve heard of some of these leaking! Anyone know of a good quality case for under $40, if there is one? Thanks.

Under $40 is not going to get you anything worth having. Underwater housings even for point and shoot cameras can easily cost more than the camera. $300-$500 should get you a decent one.

I don’t think Canon makes a housing to fit that model. Ikelite does, but it is expensive:

hey, i’ve had a lot of luck in the past with a company called M-Rock. I have recommended to several people too. They have 100’s of different camera cases, I bet some are waterproof. Good luck!
